A clear, lightweight sheet of plastic resembling glass. Acrylic sheets are produced by placing a monomer in a specially designed glass mold, producing sheets of acrylic with superior clarity. This high tech process guarantees the highest quality acrylic available on the market.
50% lighter than glass
93% transparency and clarity
High resistance to salt, air, and chemical spray exposures
Good weather resistance
4 x 6 in and 4 x 8 in
Types of Acrylic
CAST – Cast acrylic is manufactured through a process called polymerization. Methyl Methacrylate monomer (MMA) liquid is pumped into a mold made of two sheets of glass. The mold is put in warm water, polymerization occurs, and a high tech sheet of rigid acrylic is produced.
- EXTRUDED – Extruded acrylic is manufactured by pushing an acrylic mass through a specially designed form. Extruded acrylic sheets are more adaptable to thickness.
