Job Description
What you’ll be doing
- Responsible in formulating, implementing and managing company’s overall supply chain and logistics strategy in order to maximize the operational efficiency and productivity of the company.
- Play a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors, distributor, branches and sales.
- Responsible for strategic or tactical purchasing of materials and control of inventory by identifying how much is at each location and when to use it.
- Organize transportation routes while combining shipments where possible.
- Recruit, coach/train, steer, motivate the purchasing and product management team in attaining if not exceeding their respective KRAs and department KPIs
- Ensure proper product sourcing that meets the sales/customers’ needs and demands.
- Liaise with other departments such as finance, sales, operations, administration in formulating & implementing improvements / best practices in terms of vendor management, procurement process, import process, government compliance, deliveries billings and product management.
- Support sales and marketing as to meeting product standards, pricing and service offers.
- Facilitates communication and served and as mediator between department on any issues and concern arises and establish communication with people all across organization.
- Monitor the progress of projects up to completion and assist involved departments on the resources needed to complete the project.
- Foster cross-team collaboration to help departments complete project task and procedure deliverables.
- Any task maybe assigned by the management from time to time.
What we’re looking for
- At least more than 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain – Importation
- Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree
- With solid experience in Importation, Warehouse & Logistics.
- Can start ASAP
